Komatsu Ltd. (President & CEO: Kunio Noji) will provide assistance equivalent to JPY 300 million, including material assistance, as follows.

·Donation of prefabricated structures for use as temporary clinic and care centers.
·Charge-free lending of construction equipment, forklift trucks, temporary housings, power generators and other products that the Komatsu Group owns.
·Cash donations
*In addition to the substantive assistance activities above, Komatsu Group plans to collect cash donations from employees.
Today Komatsu Group formed an Emergency Task Force headed by Kunio Noji, President and CEO. With top priority on individual human lives and safety, the Task Force will lead group-wide efforts to confirm the safety of employees and their families in Komatsu Group, including distributors, and suppliers, as well as provide assistance to affected people.
