Komatsu Forklift Australia would like to take this opportunity to update you on the latest situation regarding our business operations in Queensland. 

Due to the deduction of our Queensland team our businesses in Brisbane, Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns are open and operating at near 100% capability. Our Brisbane field service is unaffected and continue to operate with all available staff. 

Komatsu have been making forklifts for almost 50 years. With that experience and coming from a background in heavy construction equipment they are now globally recognised as one of the leading manufacturers of ergonomic and exceptionally well engineered forklifts that are built to last.  

The destruction brought by the flooding in Queensland and Northern NSW has shocked all of us at Komatsu Forklift.  At this time our thoughts are with those that have lost so much.

Komatsu Forklift Australia launched the first new warehouse equipment brand downunder in over 20 years. OMG, one of Europe’s most prestigious and fastest growing warehouse equipment manufacturers, was unveiled today to become a valuable addition to the Komatsu range. 

The Komatsu team, including Mr Hironaka, Vice President Komatsu Utility Japan, from Komatsu Forklift Australia Managing Director Ted Ishikawa, and General Manager, Joe Hashem were joined by OMG’s Export Manager Massimo Marchetti to celebrate the release of the OMG range that includes a reach truck, renown for the best vision in the industry.
